So I was watching this history documentary the other day on the early civilizations in the middle east…….and toward the end of the show it briefly talked about this island over there that they believe could have been the actual Eden…….All of the archeological evidence pointed toward the island once being a food paradise. There were something like 85,000 burial mounds found and all of the skeletal remains they examined were found to be taller, healthier, and lived longer than we do today. They even found serpent remains being used in some kind of ceremonial fashion.
Now, we know for a fact that there were more primitive forms of “man”………aka “cavemen”………….What if just by chance some of those “cavemen” made their way to that island and became isolated in an area with optimal nutrition??? …..Wouldnt the cavemen’s more primitive brains become much more developed in a fairly rapid fashion over the course of generations………aka “knowledge” ??

I seriously doubt they found Eden and I seriously doubt there were any other people there after Adam was cast out Most likely the flood of Noah’s day completely destroyed that place and wiped away any hint that was the place

Here is are some archaeological facts. Folks in the middle east have never been happy or any more healthy than anybody else. Snakes have always held a mysterious place in all cultures except the Eskimo cause they aint got none. People only lived in caves on a temporary basis, caves really suck if you have spent any time in them. Most of those islands back then were just the other side of a lake or sea. They just didnt make good maps back then.

There have been skeletal remains of giants found all over the world even the USA No there have not. If the average height of a man is 5'8" then finding a skeleton of a guy who 6'8" looks like a giant. Folks exaggerate a lot. Shaq has a big skeleton but he is not a giant, he's just a really big dude.

Read the book by Sarah Wennamucca Life among the Paiutes Then read about the skeletons found in the cave years later that she spoke Estimation were 7’ to 11’ tall The sandals made from reeds were around 20” long and 8” wide Read about the What is it found in Texas Read the book on giants by Stephen Quayle Read the Bible and the accounts given on giants

No amount of proof is going to make people believe in the Bible if they don’t want to.
And no amount of pontificating by the History Channel is going to make me disbelieve what’s in the Bible.

I seriously doubt they found Eden and I seriously doubt there were any other people there after Adam was cast out Most likely the flood of Noah’s day completely destroyed that place and wiped away any hint that was the place But you believe Eden was an actual place that existed on Earth correct??......Do you believe Adam was a primitive form of human like a grunting, pointing, caveman???......By what we know to be true about primitive humans that would almost certainly have to be the case……….or……… What if the story of the first “man” was actually the story of the first modern version of man? Before history was kept in written text it was kept by story telling…….Much of the early text are of stories that had been passed down through the centuries…..and you know how abstract things can be will story telling.

A very good read for you would be the writings of Clarence Larkin He deals with some of the questions you ask

Interesting but all of this matters zero if you haven’t accepted Jesus as your savior! All of the Old Testament (Adam&Eve, Abraham, David, etc., were all there for one reason and one reason only. They were there to prepare the way for us to have a Savior and his name is Jesus. Yes the Old Testament is important but it all points to Jesus. If you didn’t realize that yet, there is always time to learn.

I’m not someone who believes that you have to take everything literally in order to have faith and I’m ok with that. I think some stories such as the one about Adam and Eve were probably early man’s best attempt at explaining how things came to be…..Even the story itself couldn’t have existed until humans developed complex enough language skills to tell it.

the book of Genesis is not written allegorical it is literal history.it gives the family tree of Adam.leading up to the second Adam God in the flesh the lamb of God Jesus Christ. the world that was before the flood perished. one day Christ will come again to restore it back.

“Eden” could have possibly been describing the far southern tip of Africa……I forget all the technical names for everything but if I remember correctly there was a point in time where Neanderthals went extinct during a bottle neck extinction event or ice age?? and the small group of folks that modern Homosapiens descended from took refuge and survived through it on the southern tip of Africa where they lived on the coast in caves for a period of time………eventually branching back out once conditions became more favorable again in across the rest of the world…….something to that effect anyways. Somewhere in there had to be a point in time where language and more complex thought developed and that’s when “stories” began to be told about what had happened in the past.

Humans once lived during an era when they were killing wooly mammoths with spears…….Who was keeping the written records of these lineages during those centuries of time?? Don’t take these things the wrong way…….I don’t believe that it makes it any less important or valuable. Humans attempt at explaining our existence doesn’t all have to be literally correct in order for God to still be real……

It takes a whole lot of faith to believe in some of the so-called science being passed off as 100% historical facts with very little observable physical evidence, virtually zero contextual evidence, and certainly not near enough general evidence to be anything but an evolutionary theory.
It takes a whole lot of faith to make the enormous leaps on the evolutionary road for the very concept of prehistoric hominoids as a version of early man to have existed, much less evolved into modern homosapian "humans", for their isn't an actual link, only humanistic scientific theory that the scientists declared are facts.
Historical science is very interesting and is capable of much truth within the last 6,000-10,000 years because of the abundance of real, observable evidence. It's real science.
However it can easily become pseudo science when it starts its humanistic agenda though...there is an enormous disconnect when selling an idea as proven fact going back hundreds of thousands, millions or billions of years in the past. Prehistoric sub human species over long ages evolving into mankind as we know us to be. Is it observable, testable or repeatable as the scientificmethodtypicallyrequires? There aren't other stories or written accounts either for an anecdotal study.
Language for example. There is virtually no compelling evidence that languages weren't complex from the beginning. It can't be observed or tested so it fails to meet the standards of the scientific method. Complex language and civilizations, without prehistoric evolution, doesn't support the humanistic and atheistic world view that calls God's Creation story as revealed in the Bible a fairy tale myth.
Garden of Eden. It's fascinating to wonder where it is and how God may have hidden it somehow. But the idea that prehistoric manlike creatures found it, were so well enabled by the nutrition that they evolved...it's not something that even makes sense in my brain.
Then again, my thoughts plus a nickel yields just 5 cents.
"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8
