I picked up a Mahindra 5145 from Fredricks last February. No issues. This is my 4th Mahindra. First was in 2001. That one has been flipped and terribly maintained but turn the key and it goes. Only issue was I had to pull an injector after flipping(hydro lock)the tractor and the stud was slightly bent. Had to bump the starter to force it out and that injector shot out and dented the hood. Found it in the yard. Cleaned it up, installed and hadn’t missed a lick since.

My mahindra has been a dang workhorse. Built way better than the new JD or Kubota. It’s all metal rather than plastic and it’s Tier4 compliant with the new MCRD engine. I’ve worked it hard too.

That’s impossible some folks say that these sub 50 horse tractors are junk and won’t last
By the way I have a Mahindra and pay less than $100 for European mounts

Tractors are like boobies and ding a lings. You always want a bigger one than you got!! Buy one as large as you can afford.
. That may be the most true sentence ever written about anything. While I generally agree, if your cutting forested creek bottoms and little patches the hay cutter can't get too a big tractor is a PIA. Most of my cutting I'm ducking under branches while laying down on the steering wheel. We didn't dare take the 100HP Mahindra down the hill to the 3 acres in the bottom. You couldn't turn it around to come back out without hitting something. I'd actually like a smaller tractor to supplement the 45 HP we have now.

I have the Kubota MX6000. I don’t use it daily, but several times a week for several hrs at a time. It’s a really strong tractor. There’s pros and cons to every machine out there but I’d be really hard pressed to pinpoint something I didn’t like about it other than the seat. It’s not the most comfortable but I have a bad back so you can take that how you want. Overall it’s been a great investment and I’ve done all service and maintenance myself.
I didn’t buy it in Monroeville, but did buy a set of disc from the Kubota dealer there. I’ll 2nd the comments above about them. Met the owner and a couple salesmen while I was there. They were all cool guys and cut up and laughed pretty much the whole time I was there.

It was a no-brainer for me, they were the closest (at the time) dealer to me and their price was slightly cheaper than a comparable Mahindra that was 3 or more hours away. Now Thomasville Honda carries Bobcat tractors but even then I'd have bought in Monroeville.

I just bought a new 3025e hydrostatic, only had it a few months so can’t speak about reliability but it’s worked perfect so far, my first choice was a kubota and probably still would be but John Deere made me the better deal by a mile, bigger is always better but I hate the tier 4 re gen and diesel particulate filter so I just bought a 25 hp because they don’t have it choose wisely whatever you buy

Got a Mahindra 45-50 last month. Standard gears and built like an old tractor. Cast Iron and steel. I like a shuttle shift but this works well enough. Plenty stout. 7 year warranty and 0% financing. This is what I ended up buying.... Mahindra 4550/ 4wd FEL with Bush Hog brand 6 ft cutter, 6 foot two row disc and a 7X22 trailer- 40k pkg out the door. Standard shift. Dowling Tractor in Enterprise- great to deal with.

Mahindra dealers in Luverne, Enterprise, or Marianna, Fl. Only drawback to a Mahindra but that is a big drawback too. for dealer service. Cost me 275.00 for the to come and pick mine up and bring it back plus they messed up the front grille screen on it too. Good tractor though. I have a subcompact mahindra. Good little tractor but most parts are not available. Several things I needed have been on back order outside U.S. for over a year. Had to find off market parts and adapt them. It was a pain. It's a TYM produced tractor with a Mahindra motor. TYM make a lot of models out there. I have years of experience with Kubota. Never had a problem with it. If I was going 40 to 50 hp I would go with a cab if the budget allows.
