Some friends of mine hunt in Illinois (fair chase, no fences) on a peice of property owned by a wealthy landowner. One of his side businesses is raising deer. Last year they were up there and looked at some of the bucks he had. 190' three year olds. Genetically tampered of course. He told them the market for buying those deer was bad and that they could buy one for $4000. For $4000 you could buy it, kill it, and come up with a belivable story. Really? The only reason he is even in business is because there are people that buy them. I've also seen pics and read of earth traps entended for luring game into a high fence by placing feeders next to the fence and building a ramp to the top of the fence. Game jump in to get the corn and cannot get back out. I do believe 1000 acres fenced in levels the playing feild as long as ethics are followed.
