What’s the incentive now to save 20% for a down payment to avoid PMI, when you’re now going to be paying someone else’s PMI regardless? Haven't you heard? Its racist to save money. Well if that’s the measuring stick I hope to be wearing a white robe some day.  I already wear a white robe

Honestly how can anyone justify this? I understand there’s folks on here that are Democrats, I want to hear from them how this is first constitutional then second how it’s the responsibility of prime customers to subsidize subprime customers? Don’t tell me about all the other things you feel are being done tell me how this specific thing is justified?

Just guessing but it would seem a person that is a high risk is still high risk with a lower interest rate. It doesn’t get rid of a payment commitment. The reason a high risk person has a higher rate is because they have shown a pattern that is not as desirable. There is nothing stopping them from taking the necessary steps to improve their credit score other than their own decisions. If this change stands it is very disappointing.

So under his regulations a credit score of 680 or greater is now considered “a high credit score”? 🤦

Need solid proof for that. But if they are from out of state and want to drive from Kentucky to Dothan just to pay cash for your AR that you have listed in the Classifieds that it is a pretty big red flag. Also, look at their post count, and look at which forums they post on and how long they have been a member. If you have a question about somebody like that, ask me or another admin and we will check them out on a more in-depth basis. Pretty sure we culled one the other day.
