Never changed oil in automatic transmission . Hard to get all oil out especially the torque converter. I see no need to mix new oil with old oil. Never had a transmission failure except an 90 f150 that had one them junk AOD transmission. Would get hot towing trailer a blow fluid out front seal but never failed . I just put more in.
