Another update. This map was generated by Kyle Shepard from Banding Coalition of the Americas. They are the ones who are licensed to do this work. The round trip mileage for the migration, not counting stopovers or miles flown on the wintering grounds was over 9500 miles. It’s mind boggling to think that a bird that weighs 55-60 grams can fly that far, multiple times.
