Alps makes an aluminum version for campers. Needs a good coat of spray paint but it's much lighter.

I agree. Im hoping to be able to cut the legs down or not use the feet so it can be shoved in the ground a few inches

I love my gobbler lounger but got a new vest with a great back pad and seat and love not toting it through the woods

I like a lounger - but mine heavy. Another negative - hard to swing around far in it - behind u - u screwed

I take a square very light seat w legs more times than not - front legs r bigger than back so it slants to tree

But lounger way more comfortable - but square seat way more portable. Another negative on lounger - its low to ground - takes longer to see gob - but that also a blessing - u blend in more w ground

If i think i may hav a field bird i take the lounger

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

I have the helinox and it is pretty useless on unlevel ground. Really only hits the mark for compact and lightweight. I still think the gobbler lounger is the best design.

I agree that the gobbler lounger is the best design, and in my old age I can't hunt without it. A good strap that lets me get it on my back really helps, but it's still like carrying 2 guns. Get someone to make one that is truly lightweight but equally strong and I will buy one. Some enterprising young man oughta do this; I think there would be a very strong niche market.

Look at the Waldrop PAC seat turkey edition. It’s expensive but only weighs 4 lbs. It’s super comfortable and very versatile as you can use it freestanding and leaning against a tree. Oh, did I mention it’s expensive? It’s American made and aluminum. It’s a quality product but with good quality and American made comes a high price tag.

not as comfortable as what y’all are talking about, but if you can find a niff-t-seat it would be a good option for you. it is light, portable, well made and keeps you off of the ground. i have been using mine for approximately 20 years.

one other idea is the guys that purchased the “waldrop pacseat” are now making a model specifically for turkey hunting; pretty expensive but would not weigh more than a couple of pounds and is comfortable. i have the regular size waldrop seat and use it while deer hunting, reunions, sporting events, etc. it literally wears like a quality backpack. if you live in the b’ham area, let me know and we can meet so that you can try it out.

Have the Cabelas one. Very comfortable. I even deer hunt out of it.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I know a fella who likes these two strapped together. It is light. Claims it's as comfortable as the lounger. I fell backwards out of it. Different strokes.

Y’all sitting on green fields in these loungers? No way I’m carrying that through the woods.

I carry mine up mountains and through the thickest of woods. With my back issues, I couldn't sit more than a few minutes without it, so I don't have much choice.
