I screwed it up this morning. Was set up on one gobbling good and heard footsteps behind me. I turned around intending to scare off his hens that were going to him and was eye to eye with two big gobblers. They spooked and ran and the one I was hunting shut up. I am a complete failure, and I have the rest of the day to contemplate my life choices. I hate that for you, but I may have made that mistake a time or 10 over my turkey hunting career.
