Checking in. Glad to team up with y'all. Not sure how much I will contribute this year since I already have 2 weeks I'm out due to out of town work travel. But, should be able to help some.

I like Team 67. Our motto: Just two short of 69.

Happy Hunting,
Wade

Got lucky and got us a few points this morning. Had good spurs 1 1/4 and 1 3/16 , weighted 19lbs 15 oz. 9 7/8 beard. Didn’t gobble but once at 10:10 at me gobbling, dead at 11:12, he was looking for a fight. Now to find 3 more dumb ones, so I can get lucky again.

Turned out to be a nice morning and I managed to get one killed today too. I’ll get things posted here in a bit. Good luck if you still in the woods!

Congratulations fellas. I called one in with two spurs on one leg. First time I’ve personally witnessed that. My buddy did the shooting.

That's pretty cool; never seen one like that myself.

I screwed it up this morning. Was set up on one gobbling good and heard footsteps behind me. I turned around intending to scare off his hens that were going to him and was eye to eye with two big gobblers. They spooked and ran and the one I was hunting shut up. I am a complete failure, and I have the rest of the day to contemplate my life choices.

Don't beat yourself up too bad Joe. At least you got to go. I got up to pouring rain so I came in to work. Hope to hit it hard the rest of the week because I am out of town all week next week with work.

Congrats to everybody. Team 67 should have a good lead at this point.
