I was in the same situation last month with our 10 year old boxer who we found out had bone cancer. It's tough for sure.

This make for one of the worst days to deal with, they become such an important family member. Someone said it above, make yourself find another fur friend, There are so many out there that need that love and attention that you can give. Sorry for your loss.
