IMO…there’s no such thing as a gun that’s too nice or has too much sentimental value to shoot or hunt with. They’re all born to go bang and I’ve made it my mission in life to deflower as many “safe queens” as possible.

Hell Big Bore,, I have one of his high dollar rifles in my safe right now. Sumbitch done run outta room! Quailman! I have 3 of the Vanilla Gorillas guns!!! I think I caught him one day experimenting with drugs or he had a bad fever! Maybe even malaria! Because he sold me the prettiest model 70 in .338 Winchester! I know he would love it back but I am extremely grateful for his temporary dementia! It will be a safe queen at my house. I know why he sold it though. After about 5 shots through it, you know you been shooting! She is an absolute beauty. That walnut is ridiculous for a factory rifle. That’s one of those rifles I’d dig it out every now and then just to wipe her down and cycle the action a few times.
