I bought a CZ457 last month and have went down a rabbit hole looking and reading about rimfire scopes. I would like to do some plinking at 100plus yards as well as closer stuff. Thoughts on adjustable parallex? Looking hard at the VX Freedom 4-12 x40. PN 175079.
Also, have any of y’all used the Arken or Viton optics?

You def need adjustable parallax down to 10-15 yards on a rimfire for utmost accuracy.
What’s your budget?

You need AO for the longer range stuff. Meopta Optika5 is a steal.

I put a Vortex Rimfire scope on mine. Been very happy with it.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

What’s your budget? Well, that Leupold I can get for about 350. Not gonna “shoot the moon” on this one

Buy this scope and don’t think twice about it unless you are going to be shooting at extremely small target under 50 yards. This scope is superior in every way to the Leupold you ask about, I’ve had both and no longer have the Leupold. At $160 is a steal! https://shopdunns.com/product/burri...llistic-plex-reticle-rifle-scope-200349/

I agree on Burris. I have 2 of them and they surpass some other scopes I paid much more money for. You just inspired me to order that. I am going to replace my Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40 on my Bergara 308. I have never really been happy with that Leupold.

I was going to recommend the Burris as well. I have that scope on my 17 wsm bmag and like it. That is a good price. I saw a couple of used ones in the last month on 24hcf for around 125 I think.

I have been very happy with my Mueller 2-7 with the lighted dot. Plenty good optics and the lighted dot helps me shoot the armadillos at night
