I saw hallb's post and it got me to thinking about it. Mine is my Granddaddy's Browning Auto 5 Light 12 vent Belgium made. With my grandmothers social security number that she scrolled/horribly etched into the metal behind the trigger.
Pretty, much the same as yours except mine was the wedding gift from my mother-in-law to father-in-law in 1957. I also have teh manual that came with it. I also have a Hi-Power and Performance Center 629 that have never been fired. I hope this country will allow them to be my grandson's some day. You let me know if you ever want to part with that performance center 629.
