My buddy is going back into LE as a School Resource Officer and has to requalify with his duty gun. We have been shooting for a couple of hours a day for three days straight. 25yds, 10 yds, and up close. His issue gun is a Glock 17 gen four. The upsetting part is that this G17 has a really nice trigger. Scary good. All he knows about it is that his supervisor said "Here. This one is yours" and handed it to him. It troubles me deeply to say this but I really liked it and it shot better than my 1911s and other handguns. Now that I know, beyond any doubt, that a Glock can have a good trigger and I can shoot it as well as my others (and better) my entire handgun world has been upended.

That is an alarming trend. Absolutely. I have spent the best part of 30 years not liking Glock triggers. Simply put, the Glock "hard break" wasn't there. It was like a single action that needed a bit of polishing to make it right. And since I wasn't compensating for the trigger I could concentrate on the sights and absolutely destroyed the bullseye.

I have three, theyre all shooters Every Glock I've owned was a good shooter - they just had hard triggers. This one didn't.

I shoot Glocks(or any striker fired pistols) and 1911's really well.not to good with revolvers
If you like a Glock try a cz p10 Glock killer.i like Springfield xd's better also but they are all very comparable

I learned how to shoot striker fired pistols about 14 years ago I treat the trigger like a craptastic double action revolver. My Dagr has the hinged trigger but it's wide enough to overcome the platicness spongy feeling. RK just tell yourself it's a Walther p38 from ww2.

Look up “Ghost” triggers for Glocks. They’ve been around before the term “ghost gun”. Not the same. Any gun’s trigger can be made better for not much $. Connectors are easy to install like most things on a Glock. https://youtu.be/dUqJ_wns1NAhttps://youtu.be/MVKbKCUOjbw
