Now that we have recomendations on dishwashers, I am in the market for a new fridge too. Leaning twards a side by side without door ice/ water thingy. Recomendations?

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Go see the guys at AllSouth Appliances on the bypass in Montgomery. I have found they have better deals than Lowes and/or Home Depot. There is a guy named Dave there that we have dealt with in the past - always seemed like an honest, knowledgeable guy.

We bought a Whirlpool side X side last time. Nothing wrong with the Whirlpool but I'll never buy another SxS. They aren't convenient, they are too "crowded." Much rather have freezer on bottom or top.

Whirlpool. Mine has 2 ice makers, double door on top and freezer on bottom. Of course ice dispenser and water on door.

Don't know your budget, but I am cheap and my wife convinced me to buy a Samsung Stainless with french -door with bottom freezer. We got water and Ice in door, but I don't think you have to.
Glad she did. But beware- you better have youtube handy if you plan to remove the middle drawers. Nothing in instructions about how to do that.
