I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

From reading his post for a number of years i think this is legit not a joke. Like the 8ft Timber rattlers and black panthers he’s seen multiples of? Jake might as well be Paul Bunyan with some of his tall tales Not sure about the rest, but I'll back Jake up on the giant rattlers. I grew up in the same area and saw them too. They were eastern diamondbacks, not timber rattlers.

Oh and last year me and the wife found a timber rattler on a back country road laying out on the warm black top. It was september or october. About the first cool night we had. I bet it was every bit of 8 feet long. I promise you. I counted 18 or 22 rattlers but couldnt get close enough to see good. It was just getting dark. Looked like he come out of a corn field by a creek and was gonna head up the wooded mountain. It was at the foot of green mountain next to the huntsville speedway. I wanted him bad. I was in shorts and flip flops. No weapons or sticks and was almost pitch dark. I was driving her corolla. I said well i will just run him over a few times and then find a rock or stick and beat him to death and throw him in the trunk like a fool. I ran him over, backed over him. Ran him over just back and forth trying not to mess his head up cause i wanted it to mount. I ran him over about 8 times and the devil just slithered off into an overgrown thicket. I got out and looked. I said hell i dont want to find him and deal with him that bad. Felt like i was askin for trouble. We had to leave him. I been hopin to find another one day as big as that one. Just not while im out of a car. That thing was a monster. It was as fat as my upper leg but im not a real thick guy. The head was probobably 5 inches across. I think it was 8 1/2 feet long. Not many people believe me. Think im exaggerating but im not. I know it was 8ft or more. It never moved while i walked around it taking pictures. The phone i had got broken before i could send the pics to save them. My goal in life is to find one as big as that one and nail it to a decorated board one day. Unbeleivable that thing was. And we was in the city limits technically.

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

I bet he misidentified an eastern diamondback to be a timber rattler. They were all over south Huntsville in the 90's.

He let the world record Timber Rattler get away because he was wearing shorts and flip flops. I bet he misidentified an eastern diamondback to be a timber rattler. They were all over south Huntsville in the 90's. 8 1/2 feet would still be a world record for an eastern diamond back Yeah, that's an exaggeration. I don't blame someone for thinking that if they saw a 6ft eastern diamondback though. They looked like pythons.

I used to wonder how the Nigerians ever fooled anyone with their scams but it's becoming clearer.

Does anyone know him personally? Someone reaching to make sure he's ok is not a bad idea. Even if he's not dead in the desert, he could be heartbroken right now.
