After a 3-4 year hiatus, I got out in the shop this morning and turned some calls. Most of you know that I got burnt out building calls as it turned into a second job and I just had to stop. Every minute of my off time was consumed by building calls. I’ve decided to just build the number of calls that I can without it consuming all my time. I enjoy turning calls (when it’s just a hobby) and have had quite a few guys wanting them. I’ll have 20 or so available in the coming weeks and I’ll see how it goes from there. I really appreciate you guys recommending my calls through the years and am truly sorry that I couldn’t produce them but it got to where I absolutely hated going in my shop. The slate call you made me several years ago is still my go to pot call. Was just thinking the other day how I would be in a real bind if something happened to it. I sure am glad to see you back at it. Put me at the top of the list when you start making them again.
