Having done that drive a number of times, well central AL to Phoenix, I can tell you that I-40 is more scenic to me. I-10 has some great desert scenery though. Both have very long sections in the middle of not much scenery. You'll be looking at 24 hrs of driving time one way.
Just for fun, I'd go one way and come back the other.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Wow I'm blown away at the response! Thanks everyone for the help. I really appreciate it and will use it. So thanks again.
I been busy just now got time to read.
I forgot to mention, she has kids and she is only off 3 days a week. She only has time to see me on her off days. If I arrived sooner, I'd have to wait till she was off work and she would be tired and neglecting her kids. I was just gonna see her on her off day. I don't want the kids seeing me until we know it will last. We are pretty sure everything will last but there isn't any need in the kids being involved until its a have to case. We will see what happens. I wouldn't meet a girl in hazel green buy I'd drive across the country just to sit with this one. Life is really strange 😅.

On the way there you will take the fastest route (don't ask me how I know). On the way back, take two days. From Mesa head towards Globe, AZ, then through the Gila Wilderness and into New Mexico. Make your way over to White Sands and take the road to Cloudcroft, NM. Come out on the east side of the mountains at Mayhill and get on Hwy 380 all the way to Greenville, TX. From there hop back on I-20 to get back to Alabama. Leave early on the first day, the best scenery will be until you reach Mayhill, NM. Thankyou!! Gonna take 72 to Memphis then do your route back or i10 to i20 if I'm Short on time. Dang Bronco, I might hit you up next trip. Its gonna be a long ride home if it doesn't work out 😂. She calls me everyday and sits on the phone. This been going on for 2mo now. Done rubbed the skin off my ear. That's why I'm going out there. To make sure I'm not wasting my time. We FaceTime and send pics. She ain't catfishing me I don't think. I will think about posting a pic of her. She would be pissed I think. She is very private. She even uses a fake name on Facebook. I will post a picture of her when I get out there with her and tell her about y'all. I will keep my story updated. This could turn out to be really good or really bad 😂. I will get some pics in the next few days. I could blur her face out I suppose. That should be safe but that doesn't do much good 😂😂.

Dang that sounds like a movie. Definitely Hallmark Channel material.  Seriously though... That's a hell of a story. Thanks for sharing. I don't know the best route, the farthest I've been out west riding one of my motorcycles is Hot Springs, Arkansas, and we always take back roads on our bikes so we can see the country. You guys all know more about me than you should from my posts already, but this thread got me to thinking that we should start a "Life Story" thread on here where everyone shares their life story. It would be a mega thread and probably some damn good reading.

Somebody really needs to do an intervention. No greater truth has ever been told...  I remember a guy at my office and he and his wife were trying and trying to have kids and they had pretty much given up and were talking about adopting.
