How yall do flyrods is beyond me. I love microlight spinning gear. I truly am amazed how a well presented fly can raise and catch trout that a thousand cast have covered with conventional gear; tackle, artificial and live bait. My trout buddy just bought a homestead within 30 minutes of the South Holston Damn and hopefully this summer I will be elbows deep with my microgear and lord help me as I saw a couple of my grandfather's green automatics ( one had parallel auto rewind other standard ) on what appeared all original maybe eagle claw rods. Wild browns and rainbows which from what I can see a 7 fish limit I would expect 8 times out of 10. If not then folks just do not know how to fish.
