Still drizzling a little here in Pickens. Wind is wrong for where i wanted to go so I’m in a millennium buck hut watching a big geeen field. We sat this stand up last fall and this is the first time I have hunted it. Checked the field out yesterday and it is eat up with tracks and scrapes along the edges. So guess we will see what happens. Good luck to y’all

I’m here in Macon county. Rain quit. We hit that perfect. I have deer on cam, in all my fields except the one I’m on. I guess I chose wisely this morning.

Just had a med sized doe and a fawn come thru. They were acting jumpy about something off in the thicket. Guess I’ll wait and find out. Rain is easing up now too.

I’ve heard 3 different turkeys gobble seen 8 hogs, the neighbors are duck hunting and they have been tearing it up. But no deer so far.

Had a spike working one of the smaller scrapes in the field after harassing a doe. After he left she went and took a crap in his scrape. First time I ever seen that. Thought at first she was peeing in it but after further examination with the Binos she was definitely dropping a deuce.
