We buried my wife’s grandfather, Leon, coming up on 2 years ago. I still think of him every day and miss him dearly. It’s tough. He was the same age as your dad and from a great generation of man. I enjoyed spending time with him, a lot of times it was just to listen to his old stories…Stories similar to what you shared from above.
