If y’all think he’s the only coach that gives kids aspirin, runs around on his wife, and cheats on his taxes y’all are crazy. Now, he’s a jerk. You can see that from the tv shows he’s done. He don’t hide it either. A lot of high school coaches are egotistical jerks, they just hide it well.

If y’all think he’s the only coach that gives kids aspirin, runs around on his wife, and cheats on his taxes y’all are crazy. Now, he’s a jerk. You can see that from the tv shows he’s done. He don’t hide it either. A lot of high school coaches are egotistical jerks, they just hide it well. There's one in Mobile now that coached at a local private school several years back and was pretty much told to find another job when it came out that he was messing around on his wife with one of the young local TV sports reporters (female-- about 20 years younger than he is). He left and went to a school in north Alabama and the TV sports girl followed him. They got married and moved back to Mobile a couple years ago and he is back coaching a local school and she is back with a local TV station

Coosa Christian has no affiliation with the Big Oak Ranch. Westbrook Christian School is where the kids from the Big Oak Ranch attend. On a side note, Westbrook just hired the football coach from Piedmont.

A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river.
The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. His quote in AL.com says a lot, "I was a dad for two years. I enjoyed it. But I do want to get back into coaching". I thought being a dad was a lifetime commitment.
