What is the driver for the 30mm tube requirement?
bc 30mm > 1" For Adjustment range ? sure...is a simple equation

I just bought a Zeiss V4 3-12x44. Haven't installed it on the gun yet, waiting for deer season to end. I did alot of research and most of it tended to indicate having an objective larger than 44mm didn't help much, if at all in low light. I am sure some of you will disagree, but that is what I found.
I do like the 30mm main tube though. It seems like I wider image to me.

This one doesn't exactly fit what you're asking for, but I've got a Swarovski 4-16x50 (1" tube) with a standard plex reticle that is for sale.

Zeiss conquest 56 mm I bought 20 plus years ago is one of my bettr overall scopes
Meopta has done well for me also in 56
The gains with the larger scope are minimal - i just looking for the most clarity the last few minutes of legal to make the quickest decision on a shooter possible

I have decided, because of my age, that I can't see squat as it gets dark wearing glasses. The scope helps, but bino's help more. The problem is I just don't like carrying them, they always seem to be in the way with a front carry AR style rifle.

I'd compare under hunting conditions before mounting. And if you ever have a warranty claim never admit to Zeiss you cleaned with anything other than their products.
