I have the Delta Base Cell cam and have noticed it doesn't seem to be taking pictures as often as it should. Like last night I got a picture of a opossum and a raccoon under my feeder. Only 1 picture of them.

When i have gotten pictures of deer I get maybe 2 or 3 pictures then that is all. Even those are sporadic in the time between pictures. I have it set to send pictures as soon as it takes them... IDK...

Do you have any recommendations on cell camera's that aren't junk but won't break the bank?

Browning Defender.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Moultrie cell cams are junk.

I’ve had good luck with the stealth cams that Sam’s club sold.

I've got 10 Spartans out most of them GoCam's at least 4 years old, 2 Ghost's and 1 GoLive. I've had Spypoint's, also currenty have 2 Reveal X's out. The Spartan app is way above any of them and the quality of the default pic in the app is WAY better than the others. All of my Spartan's are still chugging along, I will say I think some of them are starting to not quite have the same sensitivity on normal as they once did. Have had to bump a couple of them up to High sensitivity. Between all my battery setups, solar setups and the cams, I've got way too much invested in them to switch up now. Though I did just buy 2 of the new Moultrie Edge that will use the network with the best signal to see how they do on my lease where the other's wouldn't work. My Spartan's are all Verizon and Reveals are AT&T. The Edge's were cheap enough that I figured I would give them a try.

I do have this in my back yard, so to speak. After I posted this it started blowing up from some darn squirrels. Maybe it is working alright after all. The pictures are still poor quality compared to what I have seen from tactacam. I'll probably sell it and switch to tactacam.

I'm pretty much new to hunting so have been hunting on the 20 acres I live on and public land. Not putting a cam up on public land for it to get stolen. Looking for a lease or good club by the way.

My SpyPoints just keep working. My son was a fan of Tactacams at first and then they started dieing one by one just after the first year.

I got a Moultrie Delta Base Cell cam as my first cell cam at Christmas and still playing around with it.

I like it. It’s addictive. I learned that batteries last much longer if I don’t set it to download pics immediately… but what’s the fun in that? So I settled on every 6hrs as a compromise. Battery life much better now.

The photo/video setting is cool in that there is video behind every picture that you can download… but it seemed to slow down the rate of photos being taken, and you have to pay for a plan that allows videos.

Overall picture quality is decent, and you can download a high resolution version of any of the pics it takes.

Im sure there are better ones out there but I’m enjoying mine. Let me know if you want to sell

Weird, all the spypoints here from 6 or 8 of us die first 2 years. No one's lost a Tactacam in 3yrs+. I had the only issue, moisture in lense and i sent it back for a replacement.
