Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. Been up in Michigan for Thanksgiving with the in laws and everyone has ended up with the flu. I was planning to hunt while I was up here but that hasn’t worked out. I’ll be hard after them in Bama when we get back.

Are we all lazy hunter’s? Asking to make myself feel better. Only one shooter on camera now and he’s middle of the night right now. In about 3 weeks he better hide.

As far as trail cam pics go, I’m having a banner year. Got at least six shooters between three different properties but I haven’t had a lot of time to go the last couple weekends

Same here turkeyneck. Been seeing some small bucks pushing does around. It’s about to kick off and I don’t go back to work until January 2

I’ve been hunting a good bit here lately but they’re pretty much shut down here right now. Should be kicking rut into high gear in the next 2-3 weeks though

Almost had us some points today. Got busted by a big 8. I was hunting some thinned pines and had been rattling. About 5 mins after I stopped I looked to my left and saw him. Threw the gun up and got the crosshairs on him, all I had was a frontal shot and he was in some thick mess. So I waited for him to give me a better shot, well that was a mistake. He got behind a bush and I’m assuming he caught my wind and bolted. I’m still sick about it.
Luckily this is an awesome spot. I’ve killed a good buck here for the past 3 years so hopefully luck will turn around

Well guy I messed up. Killed a buck this afternoon took a pic and didn’t get another one with me in the pic. He broke off his crappy brow so instead of a six he was a 5.
