I use whatever filter they put on at Express Oil change or the odd time it might be at the dealership (maybe twice in the truck’s life). That, and I’ve always run full synthetic from when it was new and tried not to go over 8k between changes. Mine is a Nissan Frontier with a 4.0 and it’s never had engine related issues of any kind. Currently at 237,xxx
