OK, simple explanation. I'll try to keep it short. Police Officers can easily, and often do, become addicted to adrenaline and the rush that comes with it. Several ways the public fees their adrenaline cravings are through drug usage and gambling. Since both of those are frowned upon in the LE community, officers turn to another rush which is illicit sex. Many police officers are just plain whoredogs with no other way to say it. More so than the general public in many cases. That is about as simple as it gets. It is not excusable but there is a reason for it. I think it's because the line between LE and Criminals is very thin and nearly transparent in many cases. There are some that are honest as you can get. There are many that are dirty and many more that could have a foot on each side of that line. I've met and worked with more good than bad, but I also know it's there and have witnessed it myself. And the bad ones will drag the good ones down with them when they go. The good ones often turn a blind eye to the misdeeds of their coworkers. It's a brotherhood after all.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Put 10 guys around her and 5 or more gonna hit that at some point. I think that's the world we live in.
They simply made a bad hire. They hired someone who really needed to be working on her OnlyFans page instead of working the dudes on 2nd shift.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

I learned to not like tense Adrenalin filled situations. The worst thing as a supervisor were officers that tried to create excitement. You see a lot of that on the Live PD type shows. That is why I’m not a big fan of those. I guess taking up bow hunting on deer filled land was all the extra excitement my life needed. No drugs, no gambling, and no running around on my wife, just hunting and fishing. I question those guy’s taste anyways since she looks about 10 years old.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

The thing is though, as someone that fought for ethics in LE, I don’t know how to fix it except by strong rules and consistent enforcement of them. Bravo to this little department in TN. I can guarantee this will be a major blow to them, but it was something they had to do.
