OK, simple explanation. I'll try to keep it short. Police Officers can easily, and often do, become addicted to adrenaline and the rush that comes with it. Several ways the public fees their adrenaline cravings are through drug usage and gambling. Since both of those are frowned upon in the LE community, officers turn to another rush which is illicit sex. Many police officers are just plain whoredogs with no other way to say it. More so than the general public in many cases. That is about as simple as it gets. It is not excusable but there is a reason for it.

Ain’t no y’all it it. I learned to not like tense Adrenalin filled situations. The worst thing as a supervisor were officers that tried to create excitement. You see a lot of that on the Live PD type shows. That is why I’m not a big fan of those. I guess taking up bow hunting on deer filled land was all the extra excitement my life needed. No drugs, no gambling, and no running around on my wife, just hunting and fishing. I question those guy’s taste anyways since she looks about 10 years old.
This is not exclusive to the police departments. It’s in every job. Don’t dip your pen in company ink.
