Great deer yall congrats!

Had a big doe group come thru at 11:45 probably 4 nanny with good size twins. They staged 40 yards away for 30 minutes. No top on my stand. Saw a decent rack buck amongst them and privet of drainage twice but never found him. Shoot I'm glad they scurried up drainage finally 30 minutes with that many eyes will get you worn out.

Had one try to run me over from behind when I was sitting on the ground in my Turkey chair. Then dropped the hammer on the cross bolt without taking it off. Dadgum circus! Somehow I drew blood. Tracked it down the mountain to property line. Had to climb out. Finally got permission and a dog lined up. The things we get ourselves into,

They must be moving now. Just saw 7 does/fawns my turkeys and my covey of quail while putting corn out and filling the feeder.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Congrats on some fine deer. I didn’t see a thing in the clearcut this morning. You have to be mighty stupid to be in a clearcut with this much wind, so here I am again😁

Hunting in central Florida this afternoon. Sitting in some thinned pines between a swamp and live oak hammock. Doe season is over here so it’s gotta be a buck. Any legal buck will do. Sunny 50° with a 10mph nw wind. Actually feels like hunting weather. This will be my last hunt of the year so maybe I’ll get lucky.

Saw a lone yearling doe at 715. Real quiet in my area of bullock this am. Only 2 shots heard. Did see some scrapes but I think they are a few days away from really popping off at my place.

I’m back at it this afternoon. Trying my luck trying to hide from the wind at a greenfield surrounded by 20ish y/o pines. Meat hunting this evening. Have promised two people I would kill them a deer to get processed and I’ve done fiddle farted around all season chasing a buck and haven’t even pulled the trigger to get me any.

Workin for the man, huntin when I can.

You too John. I appreciate the help. I would have rather had him loaded up but at least we know he should be fine.

When that joker saw me he was done messing around. We've been on a streak of light bisket hits lately
