In some pines next to a creek. Feels good to be back, hate it’s a short trip. We saw a few yesterday pm, just spikes and doe’s. Have a feeling my 10 yr old is gonna drop the hammer on the first nanny that steps out.

Son and I are in a ground blind in Blount County freezing our walnuts off. Three does so far. Waiting on the only rack buck we have on camera. Decent 8. My son has never killed a rack buck. We’re using the Xbow

I’m here in a shooting house. I small first year deer. That’s it. Had bunches on camera through the night. Good news is, the wind has finally slowed down.

Me and my 13 year old boy are hunting with a friend today. Came to his club and doing something I aint done in 30 or so years. It's a dog running club so my boy is getting his first taste of it. Brings back alot of memories growing up. Good luck to everybody

Good luck this morning. Fixing to load up a bus full of youth and head to winter retreat in Pigeon Forge Our church went up yesterday. I always enjoyed that trip. Crazy morning so far, youngest daughter Dexcom went off giving a low BS alert. Couldn’t get her by phone so wife called oldest daughter who lives around the corner to go wake her up. Heard a Turkey gobble about 3 times across this clearcut where the wind is blowing 100 mph 😁 Those Dexcoms are lifesavers. My wife definitely feels better with me hunting alone now that she can get alerts about my blood sugar.

Saw a shooter but could get a shot with my bow. Heard the neighbors shoot close by about an hour later. Hoping it’s not the deer I think it is… but congrats to them if so!
