Sitting at the gate wondering why I’m here this morning. Been staying in prattville because our power is out so I drove 45 mins up here to hunt our tornado damaged land where I’ve had minimal trail cam pics in the last two days

Me and my son up on lease by the trail camera the rut is wide open. Chasing pretty good the last few days maybe one will slip up and a doe will bring him by my son so he can get his first rack buck.

Went to the box in a 3 year old cutover with a clover field in the bottom. Was going to get in a tree until I got out of the truck. Wind is howling in Shelby county. Good luck everyone this morning

Finally back at camp. I was going to sit on a big hill in some 3yr old pines but it’s real cloudy here. Now I’m up on my big hill where that big wide buck has been hanging out. Good luck to everyone this morning.

Present back in the pines where I was yesterday afternoon bumped a doe walking in got the wife on the trigger.found a couple scrapes that were made sometime during the night. If this wind will lay it would be nice. Good luck men hope yuns kill a biggun

Crazy morning so far, youngest daughter Dexcom went off giving a low BS alert. Couldn’t get her by phone so wife called oldest daughter who lives around the corner to go wake her up. Heard a Turkey gobble about 3 times across this clearcut where the wind is blowing 100 mph 😁
