OK, simple explanation. I'll try to keep it short. Police Officers can easily, and often do, become addicted to adrenaline and the rush that comes with it. Several ways the public fees their adrenaline cravings are through drug usage and gambling. Since both of those are frowned upon in the LE community, officers turn to another rush which is illicit sex. Many police officers are just plain whoredogs with no other way to say it. More so than the general public in many cases. That is about as simple as it gets. It is not excusable but there is a reason for it.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
