Whoa that’s what I’m taking bout turkeyneck. Daddy shot a coyote. First one we have seen in two years now. I got bored watching cutover so I moved to the hardwoods. As I was walking in saw a nice 7 point making a scrape in the middle of logging road. Somehow he never saw me and I just stood still til he was done and watched him trot off. I was tempted to shoot but he isnt the one I’m after. Makes me feel sick and accomplished every time I let him walk. I just say a lil prayer that he makes it to next season. But if not maybe he will be a trophy to someone else.

Got a decent 8 that’s been in the plot since 3:30. He’s worked a scrape twice and is now laying in it chewing his cud and just chilling. If my camera is not dead I should have a decent pic.

Watching a big clearcut this afternoon. Only birds. Got about another 30 so we’ll see.

Coosa looks like you have a nice young crop, hopefully they make it another year or two.
