Sitting in a ground blind on a cutover watching a nice smz bottom planning how I want to put a new small green field in before they come replant. Got my dad on the other side of the cutover in a tripod over looking a creek where they love to cross. We hunting a big bodied decent 8 point buck we have nicknamed Bigfoot. He showed up last week and has been running does all over our property. None of our little bucks don’t want any part of him. His hood is the size of a two dip cans. Hoping my dad gets a shot at him.

Still sitting it out to see if any mature deer takes the place of the ones we killed before Christmas. So far in the peak of the rut nothing new has shown up so the youngsters will be tired soon they have a lot of work to do
