I used a basic sd card (the wrong kind) and it worked perfectly fine up until last week when the cold hit. Then it stopped sending pictures all together. Swapped out the sd card for the correct one and it works fine now. So I'd recommend just going ahead and using the correct one, will save you some time down the road
