I tell my patients all the time if you ain’t feeling right just go get checked out! We had a guy that had a heart attack, sat on it cause he was “touching it out” for over a week and when he came to us in the ER, his heart was trash. EF of 10-15 and flash pulmonary edema due to the massive MI he had. We admitted and then transferred him to a large heart center.
My dad had his first heart attack at 32…I’m 30. Both grandparents and uncle all had MIs. I went to my doc and got blood work where my cholesterol was sky high. I’m 185lb, work out and eat semi decent. I told my doc my history and said Coy give me a statin and an aspirin even cause I ain’t foolin around. 😂 Mine is 100% hereditary.
I’ll add a couple: if your wife or a woman has weird complaints of nausea/vomiting when she doesn’t get sick, get it checked out….women display heart attacks wayyyy differently than men.
I’ll second big bore…take your dang medicine. Lockjaw, get a new doctor. I tell my mother in law that all the time. I wouldn’t trust one either who pushes the shot on you yet denies the side effects. There are a lot of great ones out there though to not keep up to date.
