That is rare but at least you know. Now that you know, you can act on it. Agressively treating hyperlypodemia ( high cholesterol) is one of the best ways to control heart disease. Primary care docs do a good job. However, I would see a cardiologist and let them manage your situation. For sure. They are on the cutting edge of the meds for your condition too.
