My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I wouldn’t drive one with a camera either. Some of our guys have GPS trackers in their trucks. Mine does not. A lot of it really depends on what kind of employee you’ve been over the years.

So they have someone watching all the cameras in all the vehicles 24/7? Why did they check this guys camera if they don't watch all of them? Supposedly ours is only triggered to record on sudden stops or bumps. Then they can go back so many minutes band see what you were doing. I don’t believe them

Years ago the company I worked for was purchased and my direct report called me in to issue me a new company phone. He told me that he was fairly certain that they would be tracking the phones of us sales guys to see where we spent our days?
I said that's fine, I'll just throw it under the seat of the 280 route truck and they'll think I made forty sales calls tomorrow.

Yep he is a not to smart but I bet he would have a problem with this pic of him and his family being posted to internet without his permission.

I would also fire whoever let this video out of my company. Discipline is a private matter. Plus, I wouldn’t want people to know he worked for me. Of course these days, may be the guy who did it that published it.

You don't need permission to post anyone's picture if it isn't copyrighted. You can go take pictures of anyone in public and post them to the net and there isn't anything they can do.

I reckon back when i drove a company truck, i did alot worse than what that guy was doing. Matter of fact i know i did. I also made my boss $2000-3000 every day so he looked over a few things. Thats the way it goes i guess

Reminds me of a buddy of mine who had just gotten his company truck then drove it to play a round of golf then to old Mexico for margs. He tore that thing all to pieces that night but never got caught for it. They seem like a major liability. Do y’all remember the drunk Creek casino employee who hit Mrs. Wright’s granddaughter in a creek truck a several New Years ago? Never heard what happened of it but there was sure a lot of covering up going on by the Indians and Montgomery advertiser from what I can remember.

So they have someone watching all the cameras in all the vehicles 24/7? Why did they check this guys camera if they don't watch all of them? Feel like there's more to this. They must have been looking for a reason or suspected something. Companies reserve the right to monitor use of company assets (that's in the fine print when you log onto your laptop, or use any other company owned asset). I'm not sure who's job it is to watch videos of people, but if they are staffing full-time roles for that, they are wasting money. If the guy is that dumb you shouldn't need to work this hard for evidence to fire him. There was a guy that used to eat lunch at a place next door to a strip club every day and took long lunches....you guessed it. This is why I use my company phone for email and work related messaging, and that's it. I had a college professor tell us in grad school the number one rule is to always assume the cameras are on, even when you have your own office. Work needs to know the value I bring to the business, and that is where it stops unless I decide otherwise.
