Dang storm came through last night. Blew a bunch of stuff away at work. Get home a bit ago. Noticed the grill cover had blown off. Warm up a little and step out to put it back on. No where to be seen. I look up and a nice buck was watching me. The second I stop walking and look at him he gone. Bet he was standing there the whole time. Maybe he comes back. Hate to kill one in this weather

I thought I would never spend money on the first lite stuff. It’s a game changer for me. I have merino wool, flannel line pants and a sweatshirt on in this blind. Probably going to turn the heater off, I don’t think I need it

How long should a bottle of propane last in a little buddy?

Hope you shoot a monster buck. Just too cold for me out there, but I will be on vacation for 14 days starting Monday.

I want to say 3-4 sits. I usually run until my feet get real warm and then cut it to pilot if tolerable

If you run it on the low setting you can get 5-6 hours of constant run time.

At least that is what mine will do.

I try to run mine awhile, cut it off until it gets too cold, then fire it up again.

Rarely do I run mine constantly but I have a time or two and that is what I got out of a bottle.

I saw 3 does around 3:30. Stayed in field about 20 minutes and then left. Seen nothing else.

Went to Iowa for the first gun season (Dec 3), so I invested in the Fanatic bibs. Sat from daylight til dark wearing only blue jeans and never got a chill. Low around 20 and high of 33 with light snow. I bought the Traverse hoodie as I thought I would get more use here and it was fine with a shirt and sweatshirt. Buddy has fanatic bibs and tops and handled -8 wind-chill and high of 12(I was in a shooting house that day). Worth every penny and Scheels has numerous sales throughout the year.

Field I’m watching is usually loaded. Just had a spike walk out and you could tell it was not the field he was supposed to be in. He couldn’t handle the wind. I Should have picked the other field out of the wind, camera is blowing up….
