Well I had big plans of hunting a ladderstand on edge of a thicket and some hardwoods. After daylight I realized I don’t own enough clothes to endure this wind. So I got down and walked to my dads buck hut since he opted out this morning but soon as I eased around the s curve to the field there were already several does eating corn. So I backed out and went to the only other shooting house on the property. Now I’m just waiting on my double biscuit and gravy to get here when my dad shows up. If any of you can sit in this wind and cold in an open stand then you are more of a man than me and I want to know what clothes you’re wearing. Good luck

We gave it a go.. lock at the gate was frozen finally got in i couldn’t get my key in the 4 wheeler it was frozen.. so we turned around and came home..

My cameras are completely dead and I don’t have any of Matt’s thickets the bucks hide in at the house anymore. Truck would freeze up if you went to the club after crossing the big creek.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

The two does just laid down in the cutover, 110 yards from me. Been watching them through my Meopta binos. Got their heads tucked in low to their bodies. The wind is howling. It is rocking this shooting house.
