I like the "wet" dressing. My wife makes the "dry" dressing. It's good, but once the gravy is gone, I can't handle the leftovers.

mmm, I do a good cornbread drunk chicken sloppy dressing, cook it down to get a good crust on top..trust me.

Yellow cornbread is ok depending on your denomination.
Sugar in cornbread is not ok even in the Jewish or Muslim books. I think the Muslims cut off body parts for doing it.

I love cornbread dressing. I could use some now after drinking some mighty fine PA 100 proof Resurgent bourbon but will have to settle for Christmas cookies instead. The holidays are here and my no sweets rule is out the door.

My mom would always make a extra pan of oyster dressing. Damn sure miss her & that oyster dressing. My Yankee sister in law makes oyster dressing. One of the most disgusting things I've ever tried. I love oysters and I love dressing but don't combine them.
