What do ya'll think? Benchmade makes some fine folder pocket pocket knives but the real question is Automatic vs Auto-assist?

Check out pro-tech knives as well. I have their SBR model that I like. I prefer the push buttons.

In Benchmade knives I think the auto-assist is as fast as the auto. I have both.

Pro-tech is my knife of choice as well. I have a couple and everyone that I show them to is really impressed with them.
Sprint 2" and the BR 1.5 are the ones I own. The BR is a cool piece because there isn't an obvious way to open it.

I have several benchmades but carry my auto over the non autos
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Benchmade are all nice including the auto assist and automatic Skinny. Can’t go wrong either way. Some of their nicer knife models are designed by a gentleman from AL.

The switch blade I bought at Sadie's flea market when I was 13 always tried to go off in my pocket (After I dropped it down the stairs the safety button broke...)

My benchmade auto has a lock to prevent it from opening if the button is pushed accidentally.
