Nope. Mine was not a scam except it did not pay past your spouse. So I cashed out and reinvested. The original payed $67/yr of service/ month. So $67x28= $1876 per month plus anything else you had invested (ie 401k, 503-b, any Roth’s). Besides jakethesnake what would you know about retirement? From some of your post you can’t be anywhere close to retirement age.
My previous employer had a pension. They took it away from us.
