I had an 8 point stare my truck down this morning as I was leaving for work. He wouldn't leave the doe that was standing just off the pavement. I nearly had to bump into him to get him to move.

I told my son at lunchtime that if we were semi caught up, he should leave the shop around 2 and go get in a stand in the creek bottom. He did and it wasn't long my cell cam sent me pics of a nice 8 headed his way. Another cam sent me a pic of him in a spot where he could be shot from the stand he was in. I got several pics of him and then nothing? After a few more minutes I text him and ask if he saw that deer. He replied "just killed him, I was waiting to see if anything else came out. Proud of him. He's grown but, I still enjoy seeing him be successful in the woods.
