My boy is 11 and I am planning on getting him a compound for Christmas. Any recommendations on a great bow for a kid? Thanks

I got my 10 yr old Barnet vortex at wolly world last year its good enough for him but I'm sure they're better bows out there...it has a bunch of adjustments that are easy to do...

I found my son an older model PSE. It is fine to get him started and it was free. Lots of older bows out there to be had for next to nothing.

Mission Archery by Mathews has really good ones that will grow with your son. I have the Hype DT that goes from 30" to 19" and goes from 70lb to 20lb. Very versatile and cheap in the used market. I think new replacement is Switch now.

Go with a Mission. You want something that fit him properly and have adjustability to grow with him. He would be able to shoot these models until he is ready for an adult bow. https://missionarchery.com/bows/radik/https://missionarchery.com/bows/hammr/

Yep mission is what I bought my son. Unfortunately he outgrew it quicker than I’d thought. So if you want a setup bow at a reasonable price only two years old let me know.

As mentioned the Mission is great but the Elite ember is worth checking out as well. The accessories in the kit are a little nicer and you can use draw stops giving it a much better wall at full draw.
