After driving like I stole it, I finally made it to my lease for a week of hunting. Sitting in a ground blind on a picked bean field. Hopefully I'll be able to update with success this week.

Good luck bud....there this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday and saw plenty. had nice 140/145 come 10 yards and had me froze. Never gave me a shot on him. Think you picked a good time to be up there. Keep us updated and shoot straight!

Just spent a week in Brown County IL hunting my buddy's farm. Killed a nice sapling about 2 inches in diameter that jumped out and saved the life of a 140 class 8 point, saw about 15 racked bucks total. My buddy has 7 pictures of that big 8 over the last 2 weeks during legal shooting hours, he has about 14 inch G-2's. Wish you luck, they were chasing good last week.

Warm weather and wind has had them hemed up the last few days. Guy in camp killed a super 9 pt on Tuesday at last light. Scored 161 1/8 gross and 238lb dressed. Will post pic when I get on a pc. Moved at first light today and I gave on a hair cut. Buddy saw an impressive 8pt

Shot my biggest buck yesterday morning! Nice 8pt that tipped the scale at 235 lb. Hunting from the same ground blind in the first post. Had Doe decoy out and he came right up to her. Was running behind that morning and did get settled in until 6:03(looked at my watch a chased myself for being late). Shot him at 6:19. Pics to come.
