My hoa didn't collect over $2000 in dues from my neighbor and they sold their house and moved and now the HOA is trying to get it from the next purchaser. Might be why it's still for sale. But then they have been crooked as hell, even the one who worked for Leeds PD. If in an HOA; you usually can't get a clear title and close without a letter of proof of paid up dues. That was my experience.
