FS Leupold VARI-X III 2.5-8X36 , matte finish, heavy duplex . I bought it new and sent back to Leupold for reticle change to heavy duplex. Leupold never offered the 2.5-8 with heavies. I have the original box and paper work where Leupold did the reticle change. Little coating worn off edge of turret caps from carrying , no ring marks. Comes with Butler Creek scope covers. $400.

Quite possibly the finest pure hunting scope ever made. Iโ€™m shocked to see you selling that one 2Dogs

The Finnlight isn't going anywhere. I had a VX-R 2-7X33 on another rifle , I decided to put it on the "bush hog."

I have the same scope, minus the heavy duplex, on my Ruger #1 45-70 and 7x57 as well as some others. The Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8x36mm is the culmination of utility, functionality, and pleasingness on a nice wood stocked and blued rifle.

Ok snap out of it Dave---you do not need this scope, you do not need this scope....

Your rifle could look like this:

Bump for the seller. I'm trying to restrain myself.

Dang, Iโ€™m a couple hours late to this one. Iโ€™m looking for a Leupold Vari-X III for my 30-30. Iโ€™m interested if he backs out 2Dogs

Someone stole that. Worth at least $2K simply because of the number of big bucks it has stared down. ๐Ÿ˜
