What is the better ones looking for quite brand names.

I put all Hunters in when I built 18 years ago. The seven on the inside are always on and still going. The ones on the water side are outside fans and have had some bearing noise, all were replaced under warranty after about 10 years. I have no idea what the quality is today.

We just went through this in our new house. I put one of those big bladed fancy ones on the back porch but went with the Hunter brand from Home Depot inside the house. Had the same ones in my old house and they work just fine.

I put whatever Lowes house brand (harbor breeze I think) is in when we moved into our house in 05. In the 17 years we've been in the house, I've had to replace 1 and it was covered under warranty (have another one making bearing noise now and it's covered under a lifetime warranty)
Hunter (home depot) and Harbor Breeze (lowes) are probably made in the same factory. When we were picking them out, both stores had identical fans that my wife picked out, at the same price. We only went with Lowes because our realtor gave us a Lowes gift card after closing on the house.

We just put in Harbor Breeze in the house we bought last year when I moved here, they had some old hunters in here by my wife wanted to change them out...no issues with them to date....

We just replaced all fans in a remodel with harbor breeze from Lowe’s in 2017. All good with no issues. Harbor Breeze been in my mothers house since 2006 and I just replaced one today due to the fan not working.

Harbor beeze is what i put in few years back. Came with remotes i thought id never use. Use them way more than i ever thought i would have.

I have a high end Hunter that's been running none stop, except when someone cuts it off by mistake , power outage or cleaning for 31 years. I wouldn't be tied to price , buy a good un.

Harbor breeze or Hunter are great fans. I don't like the ones that have specialty bulbs, or ones that have no manual control . I'm always looking for the remote for one of mine and never seem to have the right bulbs for it.

Hunter was the brand to buy a few years ago. I personally only have one but it's always on and have had no issues in 6-7 years.
