I put whatever Lowes house brand (harbor breeze I think) is in when we moved into our house in 05. In the 17 years we've been in the house, I've had to replace 1 and it was covered under warranty (have another one making bearing noise now and it's covered under a lifetime warranty)

Hunter (home depot) and Harbor Breeze (lowes) are probably made in the same factory. When we were picking them out, both stores had identical fans that my wife picked out, at the same price. We only went with Lowes because our realtor gave us a Lowes gift card after closing on the house.
